Child Below 18 Years Old, and Unmarried KITAS

DETAILS:
The Child Below 18 Years Old KITAS in Indonesia is a temporary stay permit (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas) for foreign children under the age of 18 who are dependents of a parent holding a valid KITAS or KITAP (permanent stay permit) in Indonesia. It allows the child to legally reside in Indonesia with their parent(s) for a certain period, usually up to 12 months, and it can be renewed. The child must be under 18 years old and unmarried.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months

  • Proof of living costs, minimum US$2,000

  • Recent passport photo

  • Guarantee letter from the parent or spouses guarantor

  • Birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator, except in English

  • Marriage certificate or marriage book of parents translated into Indonesian by sworn translator, except in English, and valid limited stay permit or permanent stay permit of parents note. in the case of father and/ or mother do not yet have ITAS/ITAP it can be replaced with VITAS, age limited doesn't apply if there are humanitarian and health considerations, as evidenced by attaching, proof of medical condition or proof of guardianship, translated to Indonesian by sworn translator except in English.
