The Digital Nomad KITAS in Indonesia is a proposed visa aimed at attracting foreign nationals who work remotely for non-Indonesian companies or clients, allowing them to live in Indonesia while working online. This visa is part of Indonesia's efforts to cater to the growing number of digital nomads—people who can work remotely from anywhere using digital tools—and aims to boost tourism and the local economy by allowing longer stays without traditional work permits. The Digital Nomad KITAS is intended for remote workers who wish to live in Indonesia while working for companies or clients based outside of Indonesia.The goal is to allow freelancers, entrepreneurs, or remote employees to live temporarily in Indonesia without needing a traditional work visa, as they will not be employed by or earning income from an Indonesian company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months

• Proof of living expenses of at least USD2,000

• Latest photo

• Proof of bond guarantee from the relevant institution or monthly income of at least USD60,000 per year

• Employment contract with a company operating outside Indonesia.
