Domicile Letter (SKD) in Indonesia, individuals and businesses must submit valid identification, proof of residence, or proof of business address along with other supporting documents to the local Kelurahan or Village Office. The requirements may slightly differ depending on whether the application is for personal or business purposes. The SKD is essential for many legal and administrative procedures in Indonesia, including business registration, tax reporting, and opening bank accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
KTP (Indonesian Identity Card) or Passport (for foreigners).
Proof of residence, such as:
Lease or rental agreement (if renting the property).
Certificate of home ownership (if the property is owned).
Utility bills (electricity or water bill) with the name and address matching the application.
Family Card (Kartu Keluarga).
RT/RW Letter: Some areas may require a letter from the RT (Rukun Tetangga) or RW (Rukun Warga), which are neighborhood and community leaders, confirming that the individual resides at the address.
Passport and KITAS/KITAP (for foreign nationals): Foreigners living in Indonesia may also need to provide a valid KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit) or KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit).
