Extension Investor KITAS
DETAILS:
The Extension of an Investor KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit) in Indonesia allows a foreign investor who holds a KITAS for investors to continue their stay in Indonesia to manage or oversee their investments beyond the initial period granted. The Investor KITAS is typically issued for 1 to 2 years and is renewable or extendable.
REQUIREMENTS:
Original Passport: Valid for at least 18 months if extending for a 1-year KITAS, or 30 months for a 2-year extension.
Completed Application Form: The extension form is available through immigration or authorized agencies.
Sponsor Letter: A letter from the sponsoring Indonesian company (where the individual is an investor) explaining the reason for the extension.
Company Documents:
Deed of Establishment (Akta Perusahaan) and updates.
Business License (NIB).
Company Tax Identification Number (NPWP).
Investment License from the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Shareholding Proof: Documents that prove the foreign investor holds a minimum shareholding in the company (at least IDR 1 billion in shares per investor).
Previous KITAS: Copy of the current Investor KITAS that is about to expire.
Proof of Tax Payments: If applicable, documents that show the investor’s tax compliance in Indonesia.
Fee for KITAS Extension: Fees vary depending on the duration of the extension (1 or 2 years) and the immigration office.
