DETAILS:
LKPM stands for Laporan Kegiatan Penanaman Modal, which translates to Investment Activity Report. LKPM is a mandatory report that businesses, both domestic and foreign, must submit to the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) or its regional offices. The report provides details on the company’s investment activities, including the progress of its business operations and compliance with investment regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
a. Investment Realization
The actual investment amount realized during the reporting period compared to the planned investment. This includes capital expenditure, machinery purchases, and infrastructure development.
b. Employment Data
Number of local employees and foreign employees hired during the reporting period. The data should include gender and type of work contract.
c. Project Development/Progress
If the company is still in the construction phase, details about the progress of project development must be included (e.g., percentage of completion of physical projects).
d. Production and Operational Data
For companies in the operational phase, the report must include production levels, capacity utilization, or service operations during the reporting period.
e. Use of Domestic Resources
Information on the use of local goods, services, and raw materials sourced within Indonesia. The government encourages the use of domestic resources to support local industries.
f. Financial Data
Any financial information relevant to investment realization, including funds transferred from foreign entities, operational costs, and other key financial figures.
g. Issues or Bottlenecks
Companies must report any challenges or bottlenecks encountered during investment realization or operations. This helps the government identify barriers and provide potential solutions.
